Black Infrastructure - Founder
Short Note from the Founder
- Not because we are rebuilding a Black Infrastructure means we
plan to revolt. We are simply working towards reform. We are
taking personal responsibility for ourselves and our successors.
Surveys show that the Black community boasts the highest level
of “faith” per capita among other ethnicities. If this is truly
the case, why do we have far less entrepreneurs and far more
people working in unhappy careers?
We have become programmed to being the newly free slaves who
prefer to work for an established organization before going
through the temporary volatile lifestyle of an entrepreneur. We
are transitioning much more college graduates than ever before.
So why are we taking this knowledge and depositing it into
businesses that will not work to build our fledging
infrastructure or invest in our true equality? These questions
cannot be easily answered nor can they easily be solved unless
we begin to live for the generation coming after us and less for
ourselves. Charity and Social Programs have conditioned us to
getting our rewards the easy way. This easy way has resulted in
the oppressed way.
The vision of rebuilding this infrastructure stretches way
beyond the century we are living in. It is to ensure we have
forward thinking operators and successors in our communities who
are dedicated to teaching others to ensure the Black community
never relives the facts of American history.
